About NEET Exam Notification

The National Eligibility Entrance Test is in short known as NEET. It is a Medical entrance exam conduct in India. The courses offered are Medical programs like MBBS, Dental Course (BDS) or Post Graduation (MD/MS) in the Government or private medical colleges. This exam will conduct by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET UG is replaced with All India Pre Medical Test called as AIPMT. For the first time, this test is announced by Government of India on May 5th, 2013 for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medicine courses.

According to the Orders of Hon. Supreme Court, NEET has made mandatory and no other exam will organise for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2017 (except AIIMS & JIPMER). Actually this rule should follow from year 2016, the Supreme Court has excused and permitted to conduct state wise exams also. Last year they conducted this test 2 times, once in the month May and NEET II in the month of July 2016.
