CLAT 2017 Notification
Common Law Admission Test is an entrance examination conducted every year for students seeking admissions to various National Law Universities in the Country. Through this entrance test, authorities provide a list of candidates on the basis of merit-cum-preference to each University for admission to their Under-Graduate (UG) or Post-Graduate (PG) programmes as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria. Candidates who qualified in this exam can get admission in 18 Universities of India. Every year by using rotational method each University conducts this exam. This year Chanakya National Law University Patna, organizing the test and released the CLAT 2017 Notification. Common Law Admission Test Education Qualification
The candidates must have a minimum percentage of marks of 55% in qualifying examination of LLB or Integrated LLB or other equivalent examination from a Govt recognised University or Institution as per the CLAT 2017 Notification.
Contenders must have a minimum percentage of marks of 45% in 12th Class or Higher Secondary Examination from a Govt recognised University or Institution.
CLAT 2017 Online Registration process and Test Date
Students should have an age limit of 20yrs for general category and 22yrs for SC/ST category as on 1st July 2017. Appellants who meet this Common Law Admission Test Eligibility Criterion may submit online registration form from January 1st, 2017. You have to log in to official website clat.ac.in to complete CLAT Application Form 2017 submission. The CLAT will be conducted Online. This Computer Based Test can take all registered candidates on 14th May 2017. Time duration allot for test is two hours. CLAT Exam Pattern
As per it specified in the CLAT 2017 Notification, the syllabus for Under Graduate Course includes five subjects which are English including Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Exam is for 200 Marks. For Post Graduate Course, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law and Human Rights.
